CHEESE....

Well, are you surprised, that I have another post and it has only been a week?!?!?!? I have figured out a new way to upload my pictures to the blog that is about 4 days quicker! :) Seriously - I upload them into Picasa then select the pictures I want and click "Blog This" ...Bingo they are here! Maybe I will be able to get the blog updated weekly this way......

Elle has a new "cheese" face - I know every kid goes through this, and I was thinking maybe we would skip it...nope! Here it is - how cute???!!?!??
Elle L.O.V.E.S. playing in water, water in the sink, water in the tub, water from the hose, water in water bottles (which she will dump on the carpet) any thing wet, she loves. Check out that smile (and hair style). She is in heaven! Now if we could just get her to actually wash the dishes!

Elle also L.O.V.E.S. technology (as most kids do) she loves phones, computers, TV's, DVD players, remotes, you get the picture. So Grampa hunted down an old laptop of his and brought it it over for Elle. Even though it doesn't turn on, make noise or do anything -she is enjoying taking care of business. Most days she will be typing with one hand and talking on a phone with the other....

She must of had some serious business to take care this day because she didn't even get her hat and jacket off! :)

We are doing our best to enjoy the last of the warm(ish) fall days. Daddy took Elle outside to play and she headed over to the neighbors play set. She likes to swing on the big girl swings and was doing so on her tummy when she went face first over the swing into the DIRT! Poor girl had dirt up her nose....gross!

Elle has really been into books lately. Her favorites are all of her farm animal books. She reads them over and over and over! The other night (Gramma as our witness) Elle said Moo, C C Do (cocka doodle-do) and BaBa. She is trying so hard, it is so fun to watch her think and try to copy the sounds.

Friday night we carved pumpkins. The teacher in me was like what a great sensory activity - well she did NOT like the feel of the pumpkin AT ALL! Oh well, maybe next year....

That is about as close as she got!

Yummy pumpkin guts...

So Daddy carved the pumpkins,

and Elle posed for a picture!

More cheese face...how cute is this! LOVE this little girl to the moon and back!!!

Saturday night we headed over to Finley's house for pizza. Elle really enjoyed his trampoline.

Maybe we need to put this on her Christmas list.

Elle had to try out Hadley's toys too...

Digging for the perfect toy!

Look who stopped by to visit, Ashton and Aiden! We had Halloween treats for them, Ashton was very excited about his monster bag filled with treats.

Elle sure loves her Uncle Adam, especially when he fills her Halloween bag with mint Oreo! Thanks for the treats Ashton and Aiden!

Dave taking on two at a time...

Thanks for stopping by, Happy Halloween!

Just pictures

A busy few weeks (okay a busy life) girls weekend in Milwaukee, parent teacher conferences, birthday party and a trip to the pumpkin patch (see 2nd post).

Parent teacher conference week, means a long week for mom (and dad)! So Elle and Dad brought me lunch! It was the only time I saw Elle Thursday (20minutes at lunch)!

She enjoyed playing on the computer in the work room!

Brock turned FIVE!!! We celebrate Brock's birthday with family -Elle's cousins Aftin and Jenna.

All of the kids went outside to burn some energy.

Happy Birthday Brock!

Gramma and Elle tried a 'playgroup' at the library. She said is was fun, but not something you could do every week. Looks like Elle enjoyed herself.

Weird...she found a computer at the library...

Elle really enjoys helping with dishes....isn't this how you do your dishes???

Enjoying the nice weather (on the neighbors play-set)

I met up with my girlfriends from high school and Dave met up with the 'baseball' guys, so gramma and grampa had Elle all weekend. Thank you, Thank you, Thank you Gramma and Grampa for letting Dave and I have an 'adult' weekend! It was so relaxing and fun to catch up with my besties from O.F. and to not be on a time schedule of naps/bedtimes! It was a fantastic kid free weekend - well deserved and a little over due! Thanks again Gramma and Grampa!!

Gramma, Grampa and Elle went to visit the boys and LOOK what Elle got to do.....

Look how excited Uncle Adam is and how relaxed Elle is!! Love it - she is my daughter, I love riding 'toys' (as Uncle Adam and grampa call them).

Grampa surprised all of the kids with WI shirts - So much fun to be a WI sports fan lately! :)
